Peter Pan and the Gang in Denali

Hello All –

We hope that things will settle down soon for us so that we can catch up, organize our photos and carve out enough time to starting posting ‘tales of the tomeos’ again soon. We’re looking forward to the holiday season and time to catch up with friends and family near and far. Up here in Denali, the holiday season is a great time to relax and reconnect – not too much holiday stress when the nearest mall is 250 miles away and Christmas gifts need to be in the mail weeks ahead of time.

It is now November – and we’re still jazzed about our recent Halloween – in fact Emma is still eating some of her loot – her first ‘loot’ bucket ever. Halloween is always a big affair at the Tomeos. We love it. This year, we continued with the family theme. Emma’s choice, this year we were all characters of Peter Pan (Emma playing the leading role).

Also Starring in this family affair was Mama as ‘Wendy’ in a flowing blue nightgown,…

Will as the hand-eating ‘Crocodile’. David as the venerable ‘Captain Hook’ and Grandpop & Bubby (visiting from D.C.) as two of the ‘Lost Boys’. Here’s the whole gang:

Needless to say we had fun.

Here is a photo album of the Halloween season in Denali with photos from recent skating and snow play:

Aside from all the fun of Halloween and the Grandparents’ visit we’ve been starting to enjoy more and more outdoor fun. Here are some pictures from earlier this Fall before we put away the bikes:
